What is one thing that you have learnt so far in GET 2021?

Through this program, I have learnt some advanced python programming which is really helpful for me who aims to pursue for computer science in the future. Besides that, I have also learnt how to team up with others to complete a project besides communicating efficiently with others.

What is one of your fondest memory in GET 2021 so far?

Receiving the GET 2021 welcome kit and unboxing (I just love unboxing stuff). Furthermore, I remember the python learning program most as I enjoy programming.

What is your favourite module in GET 2021 so far, and why?

Python learning module. Personally, I think programming languages will be a lingua franca for people from all walks of life and it ought to be taught to everyone. Therefore, I found it very beneficial to learn more about it in the module.

How has your experience been with the organizers and facilitators of GET 2021 so far?

The organizers and facilitators are awesome. The organizers did a great job planning, evaluating and improving the programme while the facilitators are brilliant for the fact that they tried their best in motivating and providing help for us.

What is one thing that you have learnt so far in GET 2021?

I learned more about coding not only about python but more about matplotlib using graphs which I thought was hard at first but then it turns out to be super easy! Well, actually I had some tiny errors which I couldn’t face myself alone but I managed to solve my problems with the help of the project walk-through video.

What is one of your fondest memory in GET 2021 so far?

The memory that I fond most is the soft launch that was held on the 4th of March. I would always see myself as a friendly person who likes to meet new people and get to know them better, unfortunately we had a serious pandemic last year which made me to lose connection among my new friends and this made me feeling all alone, but as soon i got to know about this program which was recommended by my teachers, i joined without hesitating. On the day of the soft launch, we had an ice-breaking session and managed to find new friends online, and it was one of my favorite memories!

What is your favourite module in GET 2021 so far, and why?

My favorite module in GET 2021 is the Introduction to Leadership. All along I have been used to work in groups face to face at school or at a public library but doing it online gave me a huge change. It made my life much easier to communicate and find ideas to doing projects without spending my money on buying the things.

How has your experience been with the organizers and facilitators of GET 2021 so far?

I had a great experience with all of them! They were encouraging, cheerful, funny and helpful at the same time. Really worth it enjoying my time with them instead of wasting my time on doing things that doesn't give me any benefits. (P.S. I didn't waste my time, it was just a figure of speech, hope ya get it (; )

What is one thing that you have learnt so far in GET 2021?

GET 2021 is really beneficial and I've learnt so many useful knowledge and skills. If I were to choose one, I would say it is Python programming knowledge.

What is one of your fondest memory in GET 2021 so far?

One of my fondest memory in GET so far is the group discussion session about goal setting among my schoolmates. I've known them for so long but I didn't know what their goals are until the discussion. To be frank, that discussion session is the best because we can talk freely and happily among each other, share our opinions on goal setting (which hasn't been a conversation topic before) and encourage each other to reach the goal.

What is your favourite module in GET 2021 so far, and why?

I wouldn't hesitate to choose Introduction of Python. I've learnt Python before, but at the end of that course I only understood how to code "Hello world" and I couldn't figure out how to use the language independently. Thanks to GET 2021, I finally get the hang of using Python and I fell head over heels with coding.

How has your experience been with the organizers and facilitators of GET 2021 so far?

The organizers and facilitators are so nice and helpful! No matter which session, they will give their best to conduct the session and help us when we are in need. Thank you to all organizers and facilitators, you all are the best!

What is one thing that you have learnt so far in GET 2021?

The one thing that I have learnt from GET 2021 so far is how to become a good team player. There were many leadership programmes as well as group activities that were included in the event. Through these activities I have learnt how to tackle complex problems and delegate roles and responsibilities.

What is one of your fondest memory in GET 2021 so far?

The GET Launch session is one of my fondest memory in GET 2021 so far. This is because I got the opportunity to converse with remarkable people who are working in the field of engineering and technology. I managed to learn more about the job prospect in these fields.

What is your favourite module in GET 2021 so far, and why?

My favourite module in GET 2021 so far is Introduction to Python. Even though I have learned about python before in school, I still gained new knowledge and improved my python skills.

How has your experience been with the organizers and facilitators of GET 2021 so far?

My experience with the organizers and facilitators has been great. They are very kind, compassionate and helpful because they assisted me whenever I needed their help.
